Tim Thomas
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Tim Thomas leads Amsterdam Flames end-to-end, shaping the vision, governance and commercial strategy that will build one of cricket's most innovative global franchises. From securing investment and strategic partnerships to forging relationships across the European T20 Premier League, his role is to match the club's ambition with disciplined execution and long-term value creation.

Steve Waugh shapes the cricket philosophy and high-performance culture that define Amsterdam Flames. As Chief Cricket Officer, he is responsible for the club's long-term cricket strategy, player development and leadership culture, ensuring the Flames are built on resilience, excellence and an uncompromising commitment to winning.

Jamie Dwyer OAM
Co-Founder
Jamie Dwyer brings a champion's mindset and deep expertise in building elite sporting cultures. He helps shape the club's leadership philosophy, high-performance environment and organisational culture.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest hockey players in history, Jamie represented Australia in 365 international matches, won Olympic Gold, multiple Champions Trophy and Commonwealth Games titles, and was recognised as FIH World Player of the Year a record five times.

The Board
Amsterdam Flames is governed by an experienced Board that combines independent governance with world-class expertise across elite sport, international business, entrepreneurship, finance and global growth. Together, the Board provides strategic oversight while helping build an organisation that is innovative, financially disciplined and purpose-driven.
The Board is chaired by Sue Forrester AM, one of Australia's most respected company directors. Appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to business and governance, Sue has spent more than three decades chairing and serving on the boards of ASX-listed, private and international organisations. Her independent leadership ensures Amsterdam Flames pursues bold ambition with disciplined governance, accountability and long-term stewardship.
Alongside Sue are the club's founders and executive leadership. Tim Thomas, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, leads the club's strategic direction, commercial growth and long-term vision. Steve Waugh AO, Co-Founder and Chief Cricket Officer, shapes the club's cricket philosophy, high-performance culture and leadership standards. Jamie Dwyer OAM, Co-Founder, contributes the mindset of one of Australia's greatest athletes, helping embed the elite culture, teamwork and operational excellence that underpin sustained success.
Everlyn Wai, Director of Finance, brings extensive international leadership experience spanning finance, operations and organisational growth across Asia-Pacific. As Chief Operating Officer of reach52 and formerly APAC Operations Director at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, she has successfully scaled complex organisations across multiple markets. Her expertise in financial stewardship, governance and operational excellence provides the discipline and execution capability that will support Amsterdam Flames' long-term growth.
The Board will be further strengthened by two accomplished entrepreneurs whose experience complements the executive team.
Neil Saligrama is a technology entrepreneur, founder of Compare & Connect and 1Bill, and a long-term investor in professional cricket. His pioneering work to build a digitally connected grassroots cricket ecosystem, linking players, clubs, competitions, facilities and fans, aligns closely with Amsterdam Flames' vision of growing cricket through innovation and technology.
Mannu Kala is Co-Founder and Director of KnG Healthcare, Founder of MK Tech, and one of Australia's most inspiring entrepreneurs. After arriving from Kashmir as an international student and overcoming significant adversity, he built award-winning healthcare and technology businesses that now employ hundreds of people. Through MK Tech, Mannu is working alongside the Queensland Government to help build Australia's answer to Silicon Valley on the Gold Coast, while developing world-class HealthTech, PropTech and EdTech products powered by advanced technologies. Through the Mannu Kala Foundation, he also creates educational opportunities for disadvantaged young people. His journey of resilience, innovation and purpose reflects Amsterdam Flames' belief in creating impact far beyond the field of play.
Together, the Board brings a rare combination of world champions, globally respected executives, accomplished entrepreneurs and experienced directors whose collective expertise spans elite sport, governance, finance, technology, international business and community leadership. Their shared ambition is simple: to build Amsterdam Flames into Europe's most admired cricket franchise and a global benchmark for innovation, performance and community impact.
